Mabel D. Milioto Obituary
Mabel Delores (Snider) Milioto, 87, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2014. She was born in Orleans, Mass on November 20, 1926 to Bernice Louise Chase and Forest Reed Snider. She grew up with sisters Laverne and Virginia and brother Forest Jr. After graduating from high school in Orleans, Mabel left home to find work in Waltham. She became part of the generation of women who worked in the factories during WWll. While working at Raytheon. She married Carmello Milioto, a decorated war hero from Waltham. Mabel loved animals, cruises, rodeos, popular music, and was a great fan of Elvis. During her years raising four children in Waltham, she missed her home town and family and always spoke of walking on Nauset Beach. Upon retirement she finally returned to her beloved town, beaches, and community. She will be missed by many, including sons John and Stephen, daughter Virginia, six grand-children and one great grandson. She is predeceased by husband, Carmello, and son, Richard. A private memorial of Mabel's life will be arranged at a later date.
