Angelina P. Pimentel Obituary
Angelina P. (Perry) Pimentel of Bridgewater, 97, died peacefully June 25. Angelina was the loving daughter of the late Julio and Maria Ventura Pereira. She was born in Bridgewater and immigrated back to the Azores at the age of two. She grew up in San Miguel and married Manuel V. Pimentel there. They moved back to Bridgewater in 1948 where they raised their children. She worked in the garment industry for many years. She loved gardening and will be missed by all who knew her. Angelina was always proud of being the matriarch of 5 generations of women. She was the loving wife of the late Manuel V. Pimentel; and mother of Joseph W. Pimentel of Raynham, Zulmira C. Dasilva and her husband Jose of Connecticut, John J. Pimentel and his wife Jo-Ann of Florida, Mary C. Navicky and her husband Stephen of Martson Mills, Julio T. Pimentel and his wife Marianne of Hanson, and the late Maria Pimentel and the late David M. Pimentel; loving grandmother of 17; great-grandmother of of 26; and great great-grandmother of 28. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral ws held from the Prophett-Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St., Bridgewater, Saturday, June 29, at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 103 Center St., Bridgewater, at 10 a.m. Burial in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery.
