Anne (Pratti) Resmini of Bridgewater, age 92, passed away Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, at home surrounded by the love and the presence of her family. Born Sept. 22, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Della (Biasetti) Pratti, and sister of the late Harold, Santa, Etra, Nello, Robert and Raleigh Pratti. Anne was born, raised and made her life in Bridgewater, graduating from the Bridgewater High School in 1939. She owned and operated her own hair salon in Avon until starting a family. She also worked at Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School from 1963-1983 in the cafeteria. Anne was a lifelong communicant of St. Thomas Aquinas Church, and a member of its Womens Club. She was also a member of the Ousamequin Walking Club. She loved to travel and enjoyed trips to Italy and Hawaii. Anne was a wonderful cook, much to the delight of her children and grandchildren. Her homemade tortellini soup and thumbprint cookies are legendary. She was also an avid reader, and enjoyed watching cooking shows and Judge Judy. She will always be remembered for her quiet ways, quick wit and avoidance of cameras. Anne was the beloved wife of the late Primo E. Resmini; and the loving mother of Louis R. Resmini and his wife Kathleen of Bridgewater, Janice (Resmini) Erbeck and her husband Donald, also of Bridgewater, and the late Karen A. Resmini. She was also the cherished Noni of Douglas Erbeck and his wife Erin of Canton, Ga., Alison (Erbeck) Broderick and her husband Evan of Hudson, Kimberly (Resmini) Bamberg and her husband Christopher of Bridgewater, Kerri (Resmini) Proctor and her husband Alex of Raynham, Timothy Resmini and his fiancee Laurie of Cohasset, Michael Resmini of Bridgewater; and her three great-grandsons, Jacob Bamberg, Owen Erbeck and Joshua Broderick. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Thomas Aquinas Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at 9 a.m. Burial in the St. Thomas Aquinas Parish Cemetery.
