Catherine Poulin Obituary
Catherine Poulin, 82, of Bridgewater died Nov. 15, 2013, at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. Catherine was born in Bridgewater, daughter of the late Mary C. (O'Leary) and Thomas J. Kilbridge and was a lifelong Bridgewater resident. Catherine worked for many years at Lucy Shoe in Bridgewater. Kitty was devoted to her faith. She enjoyed spending her time as a member of the Women's Club at St. Thomas Aquinas, teaching CCD classes in her younger years, and she could always be found working at the annual Christmas Bazaar or rummage sale. Kitty always enjoyed going to Lorenzo's with her sisters on Saturday nights and the family trips to Hampton Beach with Phil and the kids. She enjoyed being a Meme, making her frequent visits to South Carolina to visit her grandson, Joseph Jr. She loved spending countless hours with her granddaughters, whether babysitting, shopping or watching their softball games, never caring who won or lost, but just happy to watch her girls. No matter the time of day, early morning or very late in the evening, you could always count on mom to ask her for advise or to say a special prayer. She was truly a very special wife, mom, Meme, sister and friend. God has gained a special angel in Heaven. She was the wife of Philbert L. Poulin; mother of Joseph M. Poulin and his wife Caroline of South Carolina, and Mary Price and her husband John of Taunton; stepmother of Dianne McCabe and her husband Steve of Assonet, Carol Costello and her husband Bob of Carver, Brian Poulin of Harwich and Jane Weber and her husband Rick of California; grandmother of Cliff and Tracy Weber, Molly McCabe, Kaitlyn Costello, Juliana, Emily, and Mary F. Price, and Joseph Poulin Jr.; sister of Paul Kilbridge, Miriam Querzoli, Ann Frawley, Thomas Kilbridge and the late Mary A. and Clare Kilbridge. Funeral Mass in St. Thomas Aquinas Church Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Old St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery. For directions and online guest book, www.ccgfuneralhome.com.
