Obituary Condolences

Everett D. Bresciani of Bridgewater died July 19, 2013, in New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton, at the age of 89. Mr. Bresciani was born, raised, educated and lived his entire life in Bridgewater. He was the son of the late Ernesta (Saccoccia) and Oreste Bresciani. Everett earned an associate's degree from Massasoit College in Criminal Justice and was a sergeant on the Bridgewater Police Department, retiring after 25 years in 1989. Everett was also a member of the Bridgewater Knights of Columbus. He was the husband of the late Marcelle (Rondeau) Bresciani; and father of Lawrence Bresciani of Bridgewater, Kathleen Lewis of New Bedford and the late Pauline Chaves. Everett was brother to twin, Carubin Bresciani of West Bridgewater, and the late Guerino, Albert, and Marino Bresciani and Josephine Pistone. Everett was grandfather to Connor, Cameron, Trinity Bresciani and the late Joshua Chaves. Funeral was held from the Prophett-Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St., Bridgewater, Thursday, July 25, at 10 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Bridgewater, 11 a.m. Visiting hours were Wednesday 5-8 p.m. Burial in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery.
