Fred E. Roderick of Bridgewater died in his home March 27, 2013, at the age of 69. Fred was born in Brockton and was raised and educated in Bridgewater where he lived most of his life. Mr. Roderick was a dispatcher for the Foxboro Terminals in Foxboro for over 15 years. Fred was an avid bocci player, a member of the 49ers Club, the Lincoln Club AA and just a fun loving guy who loved life and his family. He was the husband of Maureen (Thompson) Roderick; father of Mark Roderick of Hanson, Alan Roderick and wife Emma of Brewster, Jamie Roderick and wife Jen of Middleboro and Jason Roderick and wife Christine of Raynham and Brian Roderick and Jenn of Bridgewater; son of Catherine (Blood) Roderick of North Easton and the late Leslie Roderick; brother of Les Roderick and wife Kathy of Brockton, Roy Roderick and wife Judy of Florida, Tommy Roderick of West Bridgewater, Bobby Roderick of Wareham, Cathy April of Middleboro, Ella Hayward and husband Donald of East Wareham and the late Edward Roderick. Also survived by 14 grandchildren; and many many nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held in the Prophett, Chapman, Cole and Gleason, 98 Bedford St., Bridgewater, Monday evening, April 1, at 7 p.m. Visiting hours Monday evening begining at 4 p.m. Donations in Fred's memory may be made to Hope Hospice, 765 Attucks Lane, Hyannis, MA 02601.
