Frederick A. White, age 84, of West Bridgewater, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at the Good Samaritan Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was the devoted husband of Barbara A. (Bowker) White for 52 years. Born in Brockton, a son of the late Frederick and Beatrice (Uzdavine) White, Fred attended Brockton schools. Fred was employed by the Taunton Raynham Greyhound Dog Track for many years before retiring several years ago. He served in the US Army during the post WWII occupation of Germany. He looked forward to his annual trips to Bermuda with his wife. In addition to his wife, Fred is survived by a brother-in-law Robert Bowker and his wife Marjorie of Weymouth, a niece Susan Foster of Milton and a nephew William Bowker of Enfield, Conn.
