Lori Hannan Obituary
Lori (Lubinsky) Hannan, age 49, of East Bridgewater, died peacefully after a courageous two-year battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) Feb. 25, 2013, surrounded by her family. Lori was the cherished wife of Myles Hannan Jr. for 26 years; and the loving mother of Justin and Melissa Hannan, all of East Bridgewater. She is survived by her brother, Leonard Lubinsky Jr. and his wife Leona of Dover, Pa., David Lubinsky and his wife Lynn of Davidsville, Pa.; as well as many nieces and nephews. Lori was raised in Johnstown, Pa., and was the daughter of the late Leonard Lubinsky Sr. and Irene (Romaniw) Lubinsky. She was a dedicated oncology certified nurse whose compassion and love of nursing touched hundreds of people over her 25-year career at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and Medical Oncology & Hematology in Brockton. Lori's services were held Friday, March 1, at 9 a.m. at Blanchard Funeral Chapel on Plymouth St. (Rte. 58 at the rotary circle), in Whitman, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Johns Church on Central St. in East Bridgewater. Burial in the Central Cemetery in East Bridgewater. Visitation was Thursday, Feb. 28, from 4-8 p.m. Donations can be made in Lori's name to the ALS Association, alsa.org, or the , cancer.org.
