Nellie A. Giniewicz, life long resident of Bridgewater died on April 12, at the age of 91. Nellie was born in the "Village", but moved to Bridgewater shortly thereafter. She graduated from the Bridgewater Academy Building in 1940. She was the daughter of the late Michael Auglis and Anelia (Woveris). Nellie enjoyed gardening, bird watching and old westerns, but most of all, she enjoyed her family, especially in later years, her grandchildren and great grandchildren who loved to drop by constantly. She loved their vitality and their antics, always making her smile and laugh, keeping her young in heart. Wife of the late Anthony Giniewicz, mother of Paula and her husband David Zwicker of Bridgewater, Linda and Stanley Kravitz of Bridgewater, the late Anthony Giniewciz of California, Elaine and her companion Paul Chuckran of Cotuit, Christine and her husband Jeff St. George of Bridgewater, Diane Racicot and her companion Jim Winders, and Laurie Wessels and her companion Andrew Jackson of Raynham. Sister of Victor Auglis of West Bridgewater and the late Genevieve Pawlowski and William, Charles and Adam Auglis. Nellie is survived by 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Visiting hours was in the Prophett-Chapman Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 98 Bedford Street, Bridgewater, Tuesday, April 15, from 4 - 8 p.m. Burial in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, Wednesday, April 16, at 10:45.
