Thomas A. Anania, 74, of Bridgewater died peacefully on Jan. 30. Tom was the son of the late Joseph and Blanche Anania. He was raised in Brockton by Blanche and his stepfather Frederick Alesio and was a graduate of Brockton High School, Class of 1956. Tom joined the Marines after graduation and served overseas. He married Dianne M. Davidson on Oct. 7, 1962, and the two raised their family in Bridgewater. During the 1970s, he owned the Green Arrow Floors in Bridgewater, and later Bilto Ceramics in Brockton. Tom was also a driver for Premium Beverage Company for many years. Tom loved his family, was an avid golfer and fisherman, and enjoyed traveling to Florida. He was the loving husband of 51 years to Dianne M. Anania of Bridgewater; and father of Kimberly M. DaSilva of Newburyport, Jamie L. Anania of N.C., Sheri M. O'Neil of Bridgewater, and Janel M. Butner of Raynham; loving "Papa" of Robert, Timothy, David, Brady, Nicole; and great-grandfather of Daltyn. A funeral home service was held at the Prophett-Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St., Bridgewater, Sunday, Feb. 2, at 3 p.m. with a visitation starting at 1 p.m. Burial will be held privately at a later date.
