William F. Brown Jr. of East Bridgewater died peacefully June 5, at age 64. If you played organized baseball, lacrosse, field hockey, basketball, or softball on the South Shore in the past 30 years there is a great chance he refereed or umpired your game. Bill was a graduate of Holbrook High School and after being drafted by the United States Air Force, he married Loretta. They raised their three boys in Brockton before moving to East Bridgewater in 1995. He was the "number one Red Sox fan" and his life was spent dedicated to his family and youth sports. Bill was the loving husband of Loretta A. Brown of East Bridgewater; and was the father of William G. Brown of East Bridgewater, Timothy J. Brown and his fiance Marisa Lehti of Hanover, and Christopher M. Brown and his fiance Catherine Essenheimer of East Bridgewater; brother of Marie Cameron of California; and also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
