Joseph Philip Conlon of East Bridgewater died suddenly at his home Monday, Feb. 7, 2011, at the age of 74. He lived most of his life in East Bridgewater and was a longtime employee of the Whitman Tool and Die Co. He loved traveling, mowing his lawn and gardening, but most of all, spending time with his grandchildren and his family. He was the beloved husband of Christine F. (Rosanna) Conlon; the loving son of Mary A. Stracqualualursi (Peters) and the late Benjamin J. Conlon of Brockton; devoted father of Albert J. Stevens and his wife Elizabeth of Buzzards Bay, Joseph P. Conlon Jr. and his wife Penny of Bridgewater, Stanley R. Conlon and his partner Bill Konczyk of Chicago and Christina Ortiz of York, Pa.; brother of David Stracqualualursi and Lisa Stephansky, both of Brockton; loving grandfather of Nicholas J. Conlon of Bridgewater, Joshua B. Conlon studying in Vermont, Brandon R. Conlon of Bridgewater, Max B. Conlon of Bridgewater, Ashley J. Stevens of Providence, Kaylee E. Stevens of Plymouth, Brooke A Stevens studying in Florida, Justin T. Stevens of Plymouth, Stefan J. Ortiz, Xavier T. Ortiz, Tyler M. Ortiz, Mason J. Allred, and Christiana M Allred, all of York, Pa.; uncle of Vickie Conlon of Norway, Maine, and Julie Babington of North Attleboro. Funeral services were held Feb. 10, in the Leighton-MacKinnon Funeral Home, 4 West Washington St., Hanson. Interment Union Cemetery, Holbrook. Donations may be made in Joseph's memory to the
