Annie Chin Obituary
Chin, Annie belonging to Brookline, age 57, dearly loved wife of Danny Chin and cherished mother of Kristen, Ian, and Vanessa Chin passed away February 9, 2014 after a lung cancer diagnosis in late 2012. Annie is also survived by mother Mulan from Vancouver, sisters Di-An, Ruth, and Ida from Milton-Keynes (U.K.), Honolulu, and San Francisco, and by her treasured dog, Blazer. Annie worked at Mayflower Advisors in Boston and inspired many with her passion to fulfill her professional aspirations. She was highly active in the local community through the 21st Century Fund, China Adoption with Love, The Food Project, and Brooklines BNI network. A Celebration of Life memorial was held for Annie at All Saints Parish in Brookline, on Feb. 15. Annie and her family want to acknowledge the outstanding staff at Massachusetts General Hospital who cared for her, especially during the last weeks of her life. In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Annie may be made to the Mass General Cancer Center to support lung cancer research and the HOPES program . For information on how to do so, please go to www.giving.massgeneral.org/target. Funeral arrangements by George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, Wellesley.
