Obituary Condolences

Jill A. Freint passed away Monday, March 22, 2010 surrounded by family and friends, at her home in Newton after a four and a half year bravely fought battle with brain cancer. She was born and raised in Teaneck, N.J., where her father was a dentist and her mother was a nutritionist and very active in the local community. Jill graduated from Boston University and then became a much loved first grade teacher, specializing in working with children with learning disabilities. She earned a real estate broker's license and successfully managed Boston Realty Associates for over 30 years where she was the Relocation Director and property manager. As a well-respected Realtor, she sold hundreds of homes and condominiums, assisting both appreciative buyers and sellers. Jill loved theater, restaurants, traveling, music and collecting folk art. She had a great sense of humor, was always enthusiastic and positive, warm, thoughtful, and generous. She was a dedicated and caring friend. She will be sorely missed by both family and friends. She is survived by her father Stanley Freint, brother Alan Freint, sister Helene Freint, and two nieces Jasmine McGiffert and Nova McGiffert. Funeral services were held in Teaneck, N.J., Wednesday, March 24. Donations may be made in her memory to the Brain Tumor Research Fund, c/o Dr. Patrick Wen, 44 Binney St., Boston, 02115.
