Pires, Nancy A. - Stoughton  
Nancy A. (Walkus) Pires, 74, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at home on Sunday, July 19, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Anthony Butch Pires. Born and raised in Brockton, she was a graduate of Brockton High School, Class of 1959, and Chandler Secretarial School in Boston. Nancy was a teachers aide at North Elementary School in Stoughton for many years. She then worked in the Operations Department at BayBank and Bank of America before retiring. Mrs. Pires was a longtime member of the YMCA in Easton and loved walking, gardening, reading and spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her husband, Nancy is survived by her sons, Michael A. Pires of Stoughton and David J. Pires of Philadelphia, Pa.; as well as her grandchildren, Olivia, Austin and Arabella Pires all of Charlotte, N.C. She was the sister of Joan M. Barrett and her husband Robert of Easton and the late Peter A. Walkus. She is also survived by her aunt, Mabel Silveri of Norton; and her nephew, Brandon P. Walkus of Halifax. Funeral will be held from Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rte. 27), Stoughton, Friday, July 24, at 9:30 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton, at 10:30 a.m. Visiting hours Thursday from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be private. Pagani, James P. - Brockton  
James P. Pagani, age 65, of Stoughton, formerly of Brockton, died July 6, 2015, at Good Samaritan Medical Center. Born and raised in Brockton, he was the son of the late Andrew and Jennie (DiCarli) Pagani. Jimmys life was full and enriched by the wonderful people who cared for him. He always showed his love and appreciation for the staff at both his group home of 28 years in Stoughton and his day rehabilitation program in Norton. He was also very close to his family and enjoyed attending family functions and holidays, and eating all that good food. As a lover of all Boston sports teams, he enjoyed traveling with his group home family to attend many Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics, Bruins and Brockton Rox games. He met and had a photo taken with Patriots player Matt Chatham. He loved to participate in his music therapy sessions and would strum the guitar and sing along. He also enjoyed painting at the Fuller Art Museum, the outdoors, bird watching, and was a member of the Sons of Italy. Some of Jimmys favorite things were magnets, pin-wheels, good food, watching movies, the color red, and hanging out with the guys especially his twin brother Tony. Jimmy was the brother of Anthony A. Pagani and his wife Patricia of Brockton, Adele Stevens and her husband Al of Greenfield, Andrea Amato and her husband Frank of Amesbury, Micki Guisti and her husband Billy of Long Island, N.Y., Judith Nye of N. Carolina and the late Joanne Pagani. He is also survived by his aunt, Emma Pagani of Falmouth; and many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Jimmy will have a special place within all their hearts. Visitation was held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123), Brockton, Saturday , July 11, 9-11 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
