Beverly A. MacLean

Beverly Ann (Matheson) MacLean, age 79, of Canton died Wednesday, Feb. 12, at the Hellenic Nursing Home in Canton after a long battle with Alzheimers Disease. Born in Cambridge, she was raised in Somerville and was a 1952 graduate of Somerville High School. She attended Northeastern University for one year. Beverly worked as a clerk at Met Life branches in Cambridge, Arlington, Bethlehem, Pa., and Waterbury, Conn. She also worked at Boston Envelope and ISI in Braintree and was a nanny for several families. Beverly also lived in Bethlehem, Pa., and Southington, Conn. She loved knitting and socializing. Survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Gerald; her beloved daughter, Heather Green and her husband Paul of Canton; her son, Donald MacLean of Brockton; and her sister, Sally Anderson of Beverly. Also survived by her seven grandchildren and her one great-grandchild. A memorial service is being planned.
