Louis T. DiTullio Jr. Obituary
Louis T. DiTullio Jr., formerly of Quincy and Holbrook died April 28, in Vero Beach, Florida following a long illness. Louie was the beloved partner of Rosemary OKeefe of Abington, loving father of Lindsay Sweeney of Spring Hill, Fla. and Lauren Duffy of Walpole; son of the late Louis DiTullio Sr. and late Mary Francis DiTullio; brother of Robert DiTullio of Avon, Barbara Brownlee of Plymouth, and the late Edward DiTullio of Quincy. Louie was the loving grandfather to Shane and Gavin Sweeney and Caroline and Ellen Duffy, and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Louie was a member of Teamster Local 122. Louies passions were his family and baseball. He was a member of both the Park and Cranberry League Hall of Fame for his outstanding accomplishments as a player, and served as the Cranberry Leagues commissioner for several years. A memorial service was held at St. Josephs Church, Holbrook, Tuesday, May 13, at 9 a.m. Visiting hours was held at the Hurley Funeral Home, 127 So. Franklin St. (Rte. 37), Holbrook on Monday, May 12, from 4 - 7 p.m. Interment Union Cemetery, Holbrook. In lieu of flowers, donations in Louies name can be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, 383 Main Ave., 5th Floor, Norwalk, CT 06851.
