Nicholas Cooper Obituary
Nicholas Cooper, of Canton, died in the comfort of his home Dec. 1, 2013, following a brief illness. He was 61 years old. Nicholas was raised in Canton and was the owner of Canton Tile. He was a former member of the American Legion Band Post 24 in Canton. Beloved son of Nicholetta Cooper (Sfougaris) of Canton, he was the devoted husband of Catherine E. Cooper (Frink) of Canton. Loving father of Cheryl L. Myles of Stoughton, Kerry A. Thibeault of Bellingham, Nicholas J. Cooper of Canton, and the late Alexandra Cooper. Loving brother of Stephanie Koupelis of New Port Richey FL. Proud grandfather of Ryan, Xandria, Tyler, Dylan, Corey, Aidan, Brendan. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Wednesday, Dec. 4, at 10 a.m. in St. Gregory the Theologian Greek Orthodox Church, 1007 West St., Mansfield. Visiting hours were in the Pushard Family Funeral Home 210 Sherman St., Canton, Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Interment in Canton Corner Cemetery. Donations may be made in Nicks memory to the Saint Gregory the Theologian Greek Orthodox Church, Capital Campaign, 1007 West Street, P.O. Box 293, Mansfield, MA 02048.
