Obituary Condolences

Sheila M. Fortin of Canton, died May 23, 2013. Sheila grew up in Weymouth, where she lived and began to raise her family. She was a resident at Kindred Tower Hill. Formerly of Royal Healthcare, Sheila worked as a dispatcher for Town Taxi and Green Taxi in Weymouth. Her main passion was her family. She will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. Predeceased by her husband Norman Fortin, she was the loving mother of Barbara MacLeod and her husband Stephen of Mansfield, Linda, Patricia and Kathleen Fortin all of Weymouth and Michele Kougias and her late husband William of Middleboro; caring stepdaughter of June Hardy; beloved grandmother of eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; devoted sister of the late Charles and Patricia Hardy. Also survived by two nephews. She was grandmother to the late Ryan McDonald. Visiting hours were held Tuesday, May 28, 4-8 p.m. in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, at 3 Charles St. (corner of Charles and Middle Streets), East Weymouth. A funeral Mass was held Wednesday in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth, at 9:30 a.m. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
