Thomas Waterman "Will" Joy, 80, of Orleans passed away peacefully at home on August 5, 2013. He is survived by his best friend, loving wife, and business partner of 27 years, Page McMahan; son Mark, and his wife Susan of Holyoke, MA and daughter, Judy Joy, of Port St. Lucie, FL. He leaves a sister, Carolyn, "Cal", Lawrence of Lexington, MA. He will be deeply missed by the two grandsons he loved so much, Matthew Joy of Holyoke, MA and Timothy Joy of W. Springfield, MA. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 30 years, Evie Alexander Joy, his brothers, Frank and John "Cy", and a sister, Dorothy Sargent. A Memorial Service in Celebration of Will's life will be held on Friday, September 20th at 12:00 PM at Church of the Holy Spirit, Monument Road, Orleans, MA with Reception following in the Parish Hall. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Thomas W. Joy Scholarship, Cape Cod Community Educational Foundation, 2240 Iyannough Rd., W. Barnstable, MA 02668 or The Outer Cape Health Services Wellfleet Capital Campaign, 3073 State Highway, Rte. 6, Wellfleet, MA 02667.

What a delightful man Will Joy was. I enjoyed serving with him on the Architecural Review Board in Orleans this past couple of years. He was such a wealth of knowledge and such a kind and considerate person. He will be deeply missed.
