Lawrence D. Ainslie, of Cohasset passed on July 1, 2010 at South Shore Hospital, age 86. Loving husband of 57 years to Florence (DePalma) Ainslie. Lawrence served in the Army during WWII and received a Purple Heart. Born in Norwell, he was a lifelong Cohasset resident who graduated from Northeastern University. Lawrence is survived by his daughter; Karen E. Crawford and her husband Andrew of Halifax, a sister; Sylvia Towle of Cohasset, grandchildren Andrew and Emily Crawford, Elizabeth and Adam Ainslie, and many nieces and nephews. He is the father of the late Lawrence D. Ainslie Jr. Funeral was from the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Rd, Scituate on July 7, 2010 at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anthonys Church, Cohasset at 10 a.m. Visiting hours was on Tuesday, July 6th from 4 - 8 p.m. Burial in Woodside cemetery, Cohasset.
