Helen Virginia (Eaton) Mills age 90 of Acton formerly of Concord passed away on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Emerson Hospital. She was the wife of the late Richard F. Mills, Sr. Born on June 26, 1921 in Winchester she graduated from Cony high school in Augusta Maine and went on to Oberlin college where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. She soon married and settled in Concord. She was a teacher at the Ripley Elementary School in Concord for many years. A long time member of the Trinitarian Congregational Church, she enjoyed the fellowship of numerous friends and acquaintances. In her later years she enjoyed the environment and her friends at the Inn at Robbins Brook. Survivors include her son Richard F. Mills, Jr. and his wife Nancy E. Meagher Mills of Medford and her daughter Stephanie A. Blombach and her husband John of Westminster; her granddaughter Maryellen Berry and her husband Stephen Erich Berry of Shrewsbury and her great-grandson Matthew Erich Berry. Her funeral service was held on Sat. April 28th in the Concord Funeral Home, Concord. Interment followed in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Concord. Gifts in her name may be made to the
