Evelyn M. Ingram Calderone Obituary
Evelyn Mabel (Clough) Ingram Calderone, age 96, passed away Monday, May 5th, 2014 in Emerson Hospital, after a brief illness. Born in Natick on December 10, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Alfed A. and Ethel M. (Pierce) Clough. She was the wife of the late Lloyd Ingram for 25 years and then the wife of the late Paul Calderone for 19 years. Evelyn graduated from Natick High School and was trained in secretarial skills. Early on, she worked for General Electric in Boston followed by many years as an elementary school secretary for the Sharon Public School System. Evelyn loved spending time with her family and friends and enjoying nature. She loved all animals, especially horses. She moved to Ocala, Florida in 1995 and enjoyed golfing and riding horses there into her 80s. Evelyn's favorite past times included playing the organ, playing Mahjong, and all types of dancing - ballroom, square dancing and line-dancing. She was still line dancing at 95. Evelyn was the loving mother of Jana Gardella and husband John of Concord, Karen Briere and husband Paul of Stoughton and Step-mother of Paul Calderone and wife Sue, and Peter and Mark Calderone of Attleborough. She was the cherished Grandmother of Tara Fersko, Bryan McGovern, David Briere, Jaymie Genatossio, Timothy Briere, Sam Gardella, Dorie Mansen, Maggie Gardella, Sarah and Matt Calderone, Julie Johnson and Nick Calderone, Lindsey Moran and Chris Calderone; and the adoring Great-Grandmother of Abby, Kyle, Kevin, Josh, Kelsey, Micky, Lilly, Kallie, Mason, Lizzie, Katie, Samantha, Brady, Kate, Gracie, Olivia, Lucas and Anthony. Funeral services were held at the Trinitarian Congregational Church in Concord, MA. Interment followed in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
