Eugene Geno Francis Beshears, 80, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 2, 2014. He was the son of the late Joseph Beshears and Frances (McCarthy) Beshears. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Patricia M. (Garland) Beshears , his 5 children, Paul Beshears, Laura Hayes and husband David, Virginia Casson and husband Bruce, Elizabeth Swindell and husband Eric, Claire Beshears and wife Katherine Braz, along with 2 sisters, Nanette Marano and Elberta Culmone, 8 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased in death by a sister and 2 brothers. Formerly from Brooklyn N.Y. Geno called Framingham home for nearly 50 years. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed life and spending time with his family and friends. A funeral Mass was scheduled for Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at 10 a.m. at St. Stephen's Parish, 221 Concord St., Framingham followed by a reception at The Fraternal Order of Eagles, 55 Park St., Framingham. Burial will be at a future date in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Framingham. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the Eugene J. Mccarthy and Sons Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln Street, Framingham. Geno asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his name to The Wounded Warrior Project, 150 Cambridge Park Drive, Suite 202, Cambridge, MA 02140.
