Patricia (Erskine) Woodward, age 87, of Framingham and Marlborough, died Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the Carlyle House in Framingham. She was the wife of 52 years to the late Leigh S. Woodward who died Feb. 25, 2011. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Doris (Leake) Erskine. Mrs. Woodward was a graduate of Watertown High School and Syracuse University where she received her bachelors of Fine Arts degree. She was the host of her own radio talk show program in the 1970s The Pat Woodwood Show on WKOX for many years. She then worked in public relations at the Dana Hall School in Wellesley, and later for the DBL Printing Company in Ward Hill , MA and also had her own public relations company until her retirement in the early 1990s Mrs. Woodward was a longtime Framingham Town Meeting Member and Rotary Member. She was also a longtime member of the Plymouth Congregational Church in Framingham and a founding member of the Framingham League of Womens Voters. She was also involved in the founding of Danforth Museum. She loved spending her summers in Wakefield, NH with her family and friends. She is survived by her children, Jonathan Woodward of Natick and his girlfriend Susan Robinson of Framingham, Melissa Buser and her husband Chris of Waxhaw, NC; three grandchildren, Nikolas Buser and his wife Ari of Munich, Germany, Mathias Buser of Grafenau, Germany and Jonas Buser of Waxhaw, NC. She is also survived by her sister Lyn Burns of Austin, TX. She was the sister of the late Sally Sikand of New Delhi, India. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Friday at 1 PM at Plymouth Church, 87 Edgell Rd., Framingham Centre. Burial will be at a later date Visiting hours at the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech Street, (corner of Union Ave) Framingham will be Thursday from 5 | 8 PM.
