John Prorok Obituary

John A. Prorok, aka Jack, age 76, passed on March 7th in Framingham. He lived in Falmouth since 1970, which was where he loved to be. Jack and Gail shared two locations, he mostly in Falmouth and Gail between the two as she worked in Framingham. He only came to Framingham to live full time after he got ill in 2015. He really wanted to be in Falmouth. Jack and Gail Worsfold shared a very loving life together starting in 1971 when they met and permanently since 1985. He was an upholsterer for much of his life, owning Atlas Auto Tops in Quincy and later Abaco Boat Canvas in Waltham and in Great Harbors, in East Falmouth. He was an avid fisherman with his boat Double Trouble at Pier 37, avid clamer, and loved to catch herring in East Falmouth at the herring run when it was ok to do that or Trump River. He also loved spending time in both Fort Lauderdale and in Abaco in the Bahamas. He as the head bartender at the Flying Bridge for several years starting in 1970, heading to Florida to work at the Petite Marmite in West Palm Beach in the winter. He hired Gail in 1971 as a cocktail waitress at the Flying Bridge where they both worked for Fred and Phil Wormell. He leaves Gail Worsfold, his life partner, of Falmouth and Framingham and the love of his life, his West Highland Terriers Marley and Tucker. His Aunt Stella Ronayne, 98 years old in Springfield. His Oldest friend Dolores Perenyi and her husband John of Chestnut Hill. Their children John Prorok, Linda Griffith, and Eric Perenyi. His other oldest friend Ritchie Alexander of Springfield. His Brother Eugene Prorok of Quincy. He is also survived by Lindas husband Graeme Griffith and their son Carter of Andover MA. Erics wife Lydia and their children John Michael, Eric, and Paris. He leaves two cousins, Jim Ronayne and Ellen. His best friends and fishing buddies John Castro and his wife Giti, and Bill Connerney and his wife Ruth both of East Falmouth. Services will be private.
