Robert James "Bob" Wright, of Georgetown, passed away peacefully on April 28 with family and friends by his bedside at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill, MA. He was 82. Born to James and Agnes Wright, along with siblings, brother Alfred and surviving sister Priscilla Georgian, he often happily recalled his childhood on a farm in West Newbury. His love of animals was well known. He is survived by wife of 53 years, Joan (Ricker); children Linda Danilecki and husband Robert, Raymond Wright, Debbie Sloban and husband Tom, Bonnie Silva and husband Glenn, Robert Wright Jr. and wife Lori, and Roberta Abrahams and husband Jeffrey; grandchildren Karrie Downey and husband Sean, Amanda Suleski and husband Steven, Kristie Danilecki, Erin and Jillian Sloban, Shauna Silva, and Robert Wright, III; great grandchildren Marie, Jaylene, and Rhian Suleski and Carolyn and Connor Downey; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. A retired truck driver of more than 50 years, he owned and operated J&R Trucking with wife, Joan. In his younger years, he served as a member of the Groveland Fire Department. He enjoyed spending time with his family and many friends, especially on camping trips. Known as Gramp, Papa, and Ace, he will be lovingly remembered for his tremendous strength, hardworking nature, ability to fix anything, and eagerness to do anything for his family and friends who will miss him dearly, but cherish his memory. His life will be celebrated on Friday, May 4 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Merton E. Roberts, Jr & Conte Funeral Home, 14 Pleasant Street, Georgetown.
