Frank L. Goyette Sr., 79, of Halifax, passed away June 24, 2013. Son of the late Frank and Dorothy Goyette, he is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Margaret (Driscoll); his five children, Frank Jr. and his wife Kathleen of Glastonbury, Conn., Linda Corcoran and her husband Neil of Kingston, Denise Brown and her husband Doug of Middleboro, William and his wife Susan of Duxbury and Michelle of Kingston; sister, Janice Lincoln of Marshfield; granddaughters, Keri, Kaitlyn and Kristina Gillen, Christie, Allison and Lexi Goyette; step-grandchildren, Colleen Carpenter, Brendan Corcoran and Carol Belcher; great-grandchildren, Kailey and Rylee; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his brother, Robert of Scituate. Frank proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was a devoted family man and never missed any of his childrens and grandchildrens school and athletic events. Frank was an avid sports fan but most notably the number one fan of his adored grandchildren. Visiting hours were held Thursday, June 27, from 4-8 p.m. at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St. (Rte. 106), Kingston. A funeral Mass was held Friday, June 28, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church in Kingston. Interment was private. Donations in Franks memory may be made to The One Fund of Boston or The Jimmy Fund.
