Ellen, Mike, David, Tim - I was just made aware that Joe Passed away. I am so sad and I know how much he meant to me - I can only imagine how you must feel. My family knew Joe through his affiliation with So. Weymouth Church of the Nazarene and Eastern Nazarene College. Joe and I took classes together through Reynolds Institute for Ordination in the Nazarene Church. The reason I made it through that was due to the efforts of Joe at ENC on my behalf. We have all lost a great guy. I loved him as a brother and would have been at his celebration had I known before today. God bless and may the God we serve hold him gently in His hands and bring peace and comfort to you all. Love you and I am praying for you. Rev. John B Townsend, Chaplain, Marlborough, Ma

I was so sad to hear of Joe's passing. I have found memories of working with Joe at ENC and hearing him preach with conviction at Fort Square Presby Church. He brought the church great messages at a time when he was greatly needed.

Ellen - I was so sad to hear of. Joe 's passing. I am the custom clothier who made clothing for Joe for roughly 20 years. He loved his clothing ! Joe was so energetic and passionate, it's no wonder he was such a success in business and in ministry. We as a company made some mistakes with Joe's clothing over the years, but he was always so forgiving about it, and so loyal as a client. He really taught me about graciousness and honesty. I will miss him. My prayers to you and your family. - Bill Lambert, Tom James Clothing

Ellen and family, we were so sorry to hear of our friend Joe's passing. We remember him as a godly, charismatic, humorous man with a passion for the ministry to which he was called. Please know that we continue to pray for all of you.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any man's death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.
