Christine Anne (David) Abboud, 67, of Hanover and formerly of Dedham passed away Saturday, June 22, in her home, after a long struggle with cancer. Daughter of the late Peter and Emily (Sarkis) David of Dedham. Loving wife of Alan. Mother of Matthew of Billerica and Gregory and fiance Abigail Lewis of Kingsland, GA. Grandmother of Zekke and Annabelle. Sister of Jacque- line and her husband David Shahood of Acton and Patricia and her husband Michael Grasso of Orlando, FL and sister-in-law of Brian Abboud. Aunt of Susan Hensley, Jeannie Berry, and Courtney Olson and great-aunt to Alexis, Michael, Rose, Regina, Lucas and Connor. A graduate of Ursuline Academy and UMass-Amherst, she later earned a Masters of Education from Bridgewater State University. For several years, she served as an inspirational teacher in the GED program at the Plymouth County House of Correction and most recently as the Transportation Coordinator for the Hanover Council on Aging where she endeared herself to staff and seniors alike. She volunteered a great deal of her time with the South Shore Habitat for Humanity and as a CCD instructor at St. Marys Church, Hanover. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St., Rte. 53 in Hanover on Friday, June 28 from 4-7 pm. A Mass of Resurrection will be held Saturday, June 29 at 9:00 am at St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, 392 Hanover St., Rte. 139 in Hanover.
