Jeannette E. Migre Obituary
Jeannette E. Migre, 89 of Hanover, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2017. Born in Whitman on January 17, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Arthur F. and Florence H. (Reardon) Sproul. Jeannette was a graduate of Whitman High School, class of 1945 and Catherine Labour College, class of 1977, where she received her AA and RN. She was a member of the Daughters of American Revolution, Society of Mayflower Descendants, Stetson Kindred of America, Hanover Historical Society, and Hanover Town Democratic Committee. Jeannette was also a talented photographer and was the unofficial town photographer. Jeannette was the wife of the late William Bamford Migre. She is survived by her children Maryellen Migre of Quincy, Terry Davies and her husband John of Norfolk, Jeff Migre and his wife Maryellen of Hanover, Samuel Migre and his wife Dawne of Halifax, and the late Gael Migre. She was the sister of Doris Driscoll of Taunton, and the late Pauline, Arthur, Sister Mary, and Robert Sproul. Jeannette is survived by 9 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington Street, Rte. 53, Hanover, on Friday, Oct. 13, from 4 - 7 p.m. A funeral Mass celebrated on Saturday, Oct. 14, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, 392 Hanover Street, Rte. 139, Hanover. Burial at Hanover Center Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Franciscan Sisters of the Atonement, 41 Old Highland Turnpike, Development Office, Garrison, NY 10524.
