Susan N. Woodward Obituary
Susan N. Woodward, age 65 of Hanover, passed away March 14, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 30, 1948 in Brockton, Mass. Susan was the daughter of the late William J. "Woody" and Helen C. Woodward of Hanover. She was the sister of Doreen W. Giles of Marshfield, Nancy H. Woodward of Chesapeake, Va., and the late William J. Woodward of Hanover. She is survived by her 4 "children": Amanda H. Giles, Zachary R. Giles, Austin C. Giles and William J. Woodward III. Susan was a 1966 graduate of Hanover High School and a loyal employee of Angelo's/ Tedeschi in Rockland, and recently celebrated 25 years at GEM Gravure in Hanover. Susan was actively involved in Santa's Helpers, she was an accomplished artist, avid reader, seamstress, and hand-crafter. She greatly enjoyed Bingo, Foxwoods, Atlantic City, and Jeopardy! With her quiet manner whenever she spoke people listened, and whenever someone needed to talk, she listened. Suzie's greatest joy was in following the activities of her "children", never missing a sporting event or activity; rain, snow, or shine. Her greatest happiness came during Fall weekend trips to Chestnut Hill and South Bend, Indiana to watch her favorite teams and player. Visiting hours was in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St., Rte. 53, Hanover on Tuesday, March 18, from 4 - 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 19, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, 392 Hanover St., Rte. 139, in Hanover.
