Ruth E. Ruthie (Hennelly) Giorgi of Hanover passed away Sunday, August 24, 2014, at the age of 68, with her family by her side. Born in Quincy, where she was raised and educated, she was a graduate of North Quincy High School, Class of 1963. Ruthie worked as an administrative assistant for Massachusetts General Hospital for over 20 years. The beloved wife of the late Anthony A. Giorgi, Ruthie was the loving mother of Christian Giorgi and his wife Cara (Howlett) of Norwell and Ryan Giorgi of Framingham. She was the sister of Patricia Jeria of Delray Beach, Fla., Ronald M. of Hanson and the late Thomas F. Jr. and Richard X. of Port Charlotte, Fla., and Robert of Braintree. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and a good friend, Mickey Patrolia. Visiting hours were held Wednesday, August 27, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., with a service beginning at 6 p.m. in the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home, 74 Elm Street, Quincy Center. On Thursday, August 28, graveside services wereheld at 11 a.m., in Hanover Cemetery, 47 Main Street, Hanover.
