Edward H. Larson, 85, passed away peacefully at Pleasant Bay Nursing Home in Brewster on Tuesday April 2nd. He is survived by his sister Ruth Cummings, his brother Frank Larson, his sister-in-law Beverly Larson all of Eastham, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Doris Youngholm. He was born in Quincy, and graduated from Quincy High School in 1945. He served in the Army Occupation Forces in Japan during World War II. He earned both a bachelors degree and a masters degree in Mathematics at M.I.T. He was employed for many years by Mitre Corporation, and worked on Missile Guidance Systems. He enjoyed music, and sang with a Barber Shop Group and with The Provincetown Coral Society. He was an active member of the Orleans Rhododendron Society, the Wellfleet Garden Club and the Eastham Council on Aging. He enjoyed sailing, mountain climbing and hiking.
