Gregory Nils Peterson died unexpectedly on the October 10th, 2017 after brief illness. He was born in Bristol, CT on June 7, 1947, he was pre-deceased by his parents George and Fran Peterson. He leaves behind numerous family members. Gregory grew up in Bristol, CT where he attended grade and technical schools. He worked for John Morine Garage in Wolcott, CT before moving to Cape Cod. He served in the Army Reserves for six years during the Vietnam War. He moved to Eastham, MA and worked for Culture Clam (ARC) in Dennis until he retired. Gregory was a true craftsman. He built his post and beam home fashioned after a Nantucket whaling fleet shack. He built many things out of metal and wood including various autom- obiles. He also had a passion for sailing and gardening. Through the years Gregory had many yellow labs, which he truly loved. He will be missed by all. There will be a graveside service at Evergreen Cem- etery in Eastham, MA on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 11 am. A celebration of life will follow at the family's house. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gregorys memory may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Brewster. For online condolences please visit nickersonfunerals.com.
