John Patrick Anderson , 82, a former Harwich, MA resident died on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at Brigham and Womens Hospital in Boston after a short illness. He was born in County Cork, Ireland on October 18, 1930 son of the late Thomas and Lillian Anderson. He majored in Criminal Justice Studies. John was employed as a police officer with the Harvard University Police Department for 35 years, retiring in 1996 as a Lieutenant. He also managed a business, AA Problem Wildlife Removal in Harwich, MA, taking care of animals. He was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Church in Harwich, MA. John was predeceased by his parents and his twin sister, May OBrian. His family includes: His wife of 54 years: Kathleen T. (Caples) Anderson of Salisbury. His two daughters: Mary Ellen Ploettner of PA Kathleen A. Anderson of Salisbury. His five Grandchildren: His two Great Grandchildren: His sister: Lil Cotter of Fermoy, Ireland and nieces and nephews.
