Mark A. Merline of Hingham, died April 9, 2013 surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy J. (Johnson) Loving mother of Mary L. Schirmer and her husband, Ralph, of Hingham, Nancy A. Salvucci and her husband, Dan, of Whitman, and Dorothy E. Amico and her husband, Stephen, of Hanson. Brother of the late Rosemary Sheedy of Quincy, Martha Merline of Florida and Charles Merline of Franklin. Grandfather of Ralph Jr. and his wife Elaine, Lisa, Matthew, Katelyn, Elizabeth, David, and Michael. Great grandfather of Joseph and Julia. Mr. Merline was a World War II veteran serving in the U.S. Navy Seabees. After the war, he was a shipbuilder at the Fore River Shipyard until his retirement. Relatives and friends were respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Saturday, April 13 from 8:30-9:30 AM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Pauls Church, Hingham at 10 AM. Burial followed in St. Pauls Cemetery, Hingham. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, JFK Federal Building, Government Center, Room 1575B, Boston, MA 02203.
