Enes C. (Casna-Donati) Brown, age 91, formerly of Quincy, died peacefully, Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at the Harbor House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Hingham, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Quincy, raised and educated in Quincy schools and was a graduate of Quincy High School. She has lived in Hingham for many years. Enes was an accountant and as a young woman began her career at the former Lincoln Store in Quincy Center. She then worked for eighteen years with William J. Spence of the Mass Bay Lines, the former Surf Nantasket and the Surf Music Company, retiring in 1987. She loved animals, was proud of her flower gardens and enjoyed travelling. She especially enjoyed being with her family. Beloved wife of the late Stephen W. Brown. Devoted mother of Richard F. Brown and his wife of Robin of Tulsa, Oklahoma and the late Stephen W. Brown. Loving grandmother of seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Sister of the late Isabel Coughlin, Mary Gentile, Nellie Babbit, Natale Casna, Angelo Casna and Nazarino Sammy Casna. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral was from the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, Wednesday, July 3rd at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass in Saint John the Baptist Church, 44 School Street, Quincy at 10 oclock. Visiting hours was at the funeral home Tuesday, July 2nd, from 4 | 7 p.m. Interment Mount Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
