Robert Paskett Obituary

Paskett, Robert A. of Hingham, died October 15, 2010. Beloved husband of Beatrice L. (Blanchard) Paskett of Hingham. Loving father of Ellen Thurston and her husband Thomas of Duxbury. Brother of Herbert Paskett of California. Also survived by several brother and sister-in laws and many nieces and nephews. Robert was born and grew up in Mount Vernon New York and graduated from New York University, prior to moving to the Boston Area. Bob was a United States Navy veteran of Korea where he served as a pilot. He knew from an early age that he wanted to fly and turned his military experience into a 32 year career with Trans World Airlines as an airline pilot Captain. He enjoyed gardening, cooking and golf. He especially enjoyed time with his family and friends. Visiting hours was on Tuesday, Oct. 19, from 4 - 8 p.m in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), Hingham. A funeral service was held in the funeral home Wednesday, Oct. 10 at 10:30 a.m..
