Phyllis Glidden

Phyllis M. (Malley) Glidden age 94 of Hingham formerly of Canton and Avon passed away at home on Easter Sunday surrounded by her loving family. Phyllis was a devout parishioner of Saint Albert the Great Church in Weymouth and formerly Saint John the Evangelist Church in Canton. She graduated from Avon High School as the Valedictorian and from Simmons College with a business degree. She loved to play bridge and travel. Phyllis was also an avid Boston Red Sox Fan. Beloved wife of the late Col. (retired Marine Corps Aviator) Elmer G. Glidden Jr. Devoted mother of Elmer Greg Glidden III of Tampa, FL and Gail F. Duffy of Franklin, MA. Sister of Virginia Buckley of Avon. Loving grandmother of Keely (Glidden) Deon and Keith, Erin and Craig Duffy. Great grandmother of Isabella, Grace, Reese and Lyla Duffy.
