Lisa M. Trojano Obituary
Lisa Marie Trojano, 66, of Norwell and Hull, born May 8, 1947, in Boston, passed peacefully July 19, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. Lisa was the daughter of the late Dominic and Claire (DeLeo) Agrippino of Beacon Hill, and was predeceased by a brother, Paul. Lisa leaves her husband of 41 years, Malcolm, as well as two children, Paul of Boston and Peter and wife, beloved daughter-in-law, Allison, of Hingham; as well as the true joys of her life, her granddaughters, Claire and Cassie. Lisa was a graduate of Ursuline Academy and Regis College. She was an educator her entire adult life, teaching in the Somerville school system, St. Francis Catholic School in Weymouth and later in life she passed on her tremendous knowledge and passion for Italian cuisine by teaching cooking to dozens of South Shore residents, all of whom are now devoted friends. Lisa was an avid ice skater, as a youth skating for the Boston Skating Club, as well as an enthusiastic sailor and longtime member of the Hull Yacht Club, skilled gardener of flowers and vegetables, and a dedicated skier, enjoying time on the slopes of Burke Mountain, Vt., with her family. But most of all, the preceding four years of Lisas life were dedicated to her grandchildren, Claire (4), and Cassie (1), and her continuing radiance shines in their eyes as a result. Lisa leaves additional close family and an immense array of friends and all are welcome to pay their last respects at a wake to be held at McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 30 Central St. (off Rte. 123, near State Police Barracks), Norwell Center, Wednesday, July 24, from 4-8 p.m. A funeral from the McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, Norwell, Thursday, July 25, at 9:30 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in St. Helens Church, 383 Washington St., Norwell.
