Blanche G. (Tison) (Bobetsky) Lutz, 84, of Holbrook, formerly of Shelburne Falls, passed away May 4, 2013, at home after a period of failing health. She was the beloved wife of Raymond V. Lutz. Daughter of the late Colice and Rosalind (Miller) Tison, born in Kingston, Blanche graduated from Sumner High School in Holbrook. She was a volunteer at the Holbrook Council on Aging, past president for the Friends of the Council on Aging and a volunteer at St. John's Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and especially her trips to Foxwoods. Blanche will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have known her. She was the loving mother of Cynthia Aldrich of Greenfield, Stephen Bobetsky of Leyden, Kathleen Van Inderstine and her husband Kurt of Bernardston, Debra Bobetsky of Bedford, N.H.; stepmother of William Lutz and his wife Kathy of Holbrook, Carla Kerr and her husband Al of Holbrook; dear grandmother of Shana Gilstrap and her husband Brian of Jacksonville, N.C., Lucas Aldrich and his partner Stephanie of Greenfield, Krystin Rouw and her husband Spencer of Cover DAlene, Idaho, Aime Prusick of Goodyear, Ariz., Corey and Zach Goodman of Bedford, N.H., Brian Lutz and his wife Shauna, Courtney and Cailey Kerr, all of Holbrook. Also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was the devoted sister of the late Warner Tison, Marguerite Crabtree, Lucille Hoffman and Beverly Scanlon; and former wife of the late Stephen Bobetsky of Shelbune Falls. A funeral service was held Thursday, May 9, at 11 a.m. in the Cartwright Funeral Home, 69 South Franklin St., Holbrook (Rte. 37). Visiting hours were 9:30 to 11 a.m. preceding the funeral service.
