Madeline L. Pangraze, age 64, died peacefully at the McCarthy Care Center in Sandwich May 6, 2013, after several months of a courageous battle with cancer. Born and raised in West Quincy, she attended St. Marys Parochial School and graduated from Quincy High School in 1966. She worked for Prudential Insurance and Aviva Insurance Company for many years. She retired in 2007. In 2001, Madeline moved to Holbrook. She enjoyed her home, her many trips to Foxwoods, her frequent weekends in Falmouth, her many dear friends, and most of all, her family. Madeline was the beloved daughter of the late Walter and Elaine Pangraze. She was predeceased by her loving sister, Carol Chin of Holbrook, and her loving brother, Walter Pangraze Jr. of Hull. She is survived by her devoted brother, Joseph of Holbrook; her sister, Elaine OSullivan and her husband James of Canton; her nephew, Andrew Pangraze of Holbrook; her brother-in-law, James Chin of Holbrook; and her dear friend, Danielle Adukonis of Holbrook. Funeral services are private and are handled by the Hurley Funeral Home, 127 South Franklin St. (Rte. 37), Holbrook.
