Carol A. (MacKenzie) Kell, 72, died March 26, 2014 at the Brigham and Womens Hospital in Boston after a short illness. Born in Boston, she was raised and educated in Hyde Park. Mrs. Kell was a resident of Stoughton since 1974. She worked as a Hairdresser at the Shear Cropper in Brockton for many years, retiring 14 years ago. An avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, in her free time she enjoyed crocheting, watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, spending time at Whitehorse Beach and spending time with her family. She is survived by her four daughters: Dawn M. Szum and Robin M. Kell both of Stoughton, Lisa J. Kenny and Cara L. Harris both of Easton. She was the sister of Colin Chuck MacKenzie, Jr. of Stoughton. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral was held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rte.27), Stoughton on Monday, March 31, at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. James Church, Stoughton at 10 a.m. Visiting hours was on Sunday, March 30, from 2 - 6 p.m. Interment Gethsemane Cemetery, West Roxbury.
