John Jack Francis Cuff, II, 57, of Ipswich, formerly ofNewburyport, died, Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Tewksbury Hospital. He was the husband of Joanne (Mackey) Cuff and the father of two daughters, Katie and Courtney Cuff of Ipswich. Born in Newburyport on December 27, 1954, he was the son of the late John F. and Marion (Dresser) Cuff, and was a graduate of Newburyport High School, Class of 1972, serving his class as vice president. He then went on to gradate from Salem State College. Jack was a banker for both the Provident Bank of Amesbury as well as the Ipswich Cooperative Bank. Prior to his illness he was a very active member of the Ipswich community, serving as a volunteer for many of his childrens activities and as a member of the Ipswich Lions Club. Jack is also survived by his brother William J. Cuff and his wife Stephanie, of Natick, several nieces and nephews, and many dear friends. His memory will live in their hearts forever. The family wishes to express their sincerest thanks to the staff at Tewksbury Hospital for the wonderful loving care they provided to Jack. Calling hours will be Wednesday, April 11, from 6 - 8 p.m. at Elliott, Woodworth & Rogers Family Funeral Home, 35 Green Street, Newburyport. A funeral mass will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, Green Street, Newburyport followed by burial in Highland Cemetery, Ipswich. By request of the family, in lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Association of Frontotemporal Degeneration, Radnor Station Bldg. 2, Suite 320, 290 King of Prussia Road, Radnor, PA 19087 or to the Tewksbury Hospital Patients Recreation Fund, 365 East Street, Tewksbury, MA 01876.
