Brian A. Farina. 64, died unexpectedly at his home in Rowley, on Thursday, March 10, 2011. Born in Boston on March 4, 1947, he was the son of the late Anthony P. and Grace A. (Lewis) Farina. Brian was a graduate of Ipswich High School, Class of 1965. He was a musician, beginning as a teenager, with many local bands from the 1960s to the present. Brian was known for his creativity and his great sense of humor. He was a big fan of Rod Stewart. Brian had many friends and he was loved by all. Brian is survived by his fiance, Judy Olivieri of Rowley; his two daughters, Mara Brown of Georgetown, Del., and Brianna Farina of Portland, Ore.; and his three grandchildren. Brian is also survived by his four sisters, one brother and their spouses, Linda and Henry Wright of Ipswich, Richard Farina of Ipswich and his companion, Dale Violette, Dianne and Tom Antone of Newburyport, Donna Farina of Ipswich, Toni and Rob Riddle, also of Ipswich. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Brian was predeceased by his brother, Kevin Farina, formerly of Florida. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, March 17, at 9 a.m., at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, 52 Linebrook Road, Ipswich. Burial will be in Cowles Memorial Cemetery, 29 Town Farm Road, Ipswich. Visiting hours are Wednesday, March 16, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Morris Funeral Home, 45 North Main St., Ipswich.
