Elizabeth Fottler Elizabeth Fottler CHELMSFORD Elizabeth Betty Lang (McKinlay) Fottler, 83, died peacefully at home in Chelmsford surrounded by her family on July 4th. She was the cherished wife of Stanley to whom she was married for 63 years. Betty was born in Chicago and was raised in Indiana Harbor, IN graduating from East Chicago Washington High School. She attended Monmouth College in Illinois where she met her husband Stanley. They had six children together and lived in Illinois, Michigan, Texas, New Jersey, and Massachusetts. Betty worked in the real estate offices of Norma Perry and DeWolfe/Coldwell Banker until her retirement. Betty was a 35 year member of Grace Chapel, Lexington, MA where she was a soloist in the choir, missions supporter, and attended Joy Bible Study and MAPPS. Betty is pre-deceased by her parents, Archibald and Margaret McKinlay and her grandson Justin Fottler. In addition to her husband Stanley, Betty leaves behind her brother and his wife, Archibald Mac and Pat McKinlay and her children and their spouses: Margaret (Fottler) and Rick Johnson, Heather (Fottler) and John Mangian, Doris (Fottler) and Bob Hathaway, Linda (Fottler) and Stephen Wyke, Bruce and Melody Fottler, and David Fottler. She is also mourned by her grandchildren: Paul (Meghan), David (Nicole), Betsy, Matthew, Erin, Mark, Brandon, John (Theresa), Amanda, Ben, Connor, Kyle, Jacob, Drew, as well as her great-grandchildren Elaina, Mia, and Thomas. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2014 from 4 to 8 pm at the BLAKE FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen St. CHELMSFORD. A Memorial Service will take place Friday, July 11, 2014 at 2 oclock at Grace Chapel, 59 Worthen Rd. Lexington, MA. Interment will be private.
