Doris M. Mallon, of Lexington and Warner, NH passed away peacefully on May 19th, surrounded by her family. Survived by daughters Lory Livosli and husband Dino, Christine Mallon and husband Marc Razza. Grandchildren Kate, J.D, and Corey Livolsi, and great grandchildren and Layla and Van Sister of Barbara Long of Brewster, MA. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Wife of James A. Mallon who predeceased in 1982. Grew up in Malden, MA, and graduated from Malden High School. Doris was the treasurer of Heritage Wholesalers in Malden, MA from its start in 1970 through her retirement in 1994. She enjoyed spending summers in Warner with friends and family. She was adventurous | travelling extensively, including many visits to Scotland, almost every US national park, the Olympics in Calgary, to Italy, Ireland, London, Paris, Australia, and New Zealand. She rode in every type of air transportation, including gliders, float planes, helicopters and hot air balloons. Doris loved going to plays, especially musicals, going to the movies, reading, shopping, and never missed any of her grandchildrens games or events over the years. Doris was the treasurer and a founding member of the Toms Pond Association, working hard to maintain the quality of her favorite place. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 24th at 10:00 at The Chapel at Woodlawn Cemetery, 302 Elm Street, Everett, MA 02148. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dress for Success Worcester, (484 Main Street, Suite 110, Worcester, MA 01608), a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support, and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and life.
