Obituary Condolences

Louise (Connolly) Clark, age 80 years, wife of Charles A. Clark, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, June 10, 2011. Born in Beverly, she was the daughter of the late James H. and Louise M. (Calhoun) Connolly. She resided in Lexington for 50 years. Mrs. Clark was a graduate of Beverly High School and a member of the class of 1953 at Boston University. She served as a librarian at the Cary Memorial Library in Lexington. Louise loved nature, her gardening, reading, long walks, and spending time at her family home in Brewster, Massachusetts. Mrs. Clark was a member of the League of Women Voters, Audubon Nature Society, and the Trustees of Reservations and for 8 years she volunteered as a librarian for the Lexington public schools. Surviving her in addition to her husband are her daughters, Cynthia A. Clark of Lexington, and Victoria E. Clark and her husband Laurence OBrien of Salisbury; and Cathy Reed of Lexington who was like a daughter to her. She was also sister of the late Barbara Lewis. A Memorial Service will be held at the family residence in Lexington on Friday, June 24, 2011 at 11:00 am. Relatives and friends are warmly invited to attend.
