Grason, Edna B. - Lincoln  
Edna B. Grason, age 96, formerly of Lincoln, Massachusetts, beloved mother and wife, died July 11, 2016 at Miriam Boyd Parlin Hospice Residence. She will be missed by her family and devoted friends and caregivers at Concord Park Assisted Living. She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Rufus L. Grason. Born in Glenfield, Pennsylvania, she was the youngest of the 10 children of Samuel E. and Lillian B. Brown. Rufus and Peg moved to Lincoln in 1954 to the home they built together. They summered at Lake Monomonac, Rindge, New Hampshire. Peg received her RN from Suburban General Hospital School of Nursing, Bellevue, Pennsylvania, in 1941. She worked with her husband in founding Grason-Stadler, Inc. a manufacturer of medical instruments. She was a volunteer for the American Red Cross and a member of the Lincoln Historical Society. Her years of historical research are now part of the Lincoln historical archives. Rufus and Peg travelled the world together and in retirement enjoyed the Elderhostel classes they took. She is survived by her children: Doris G. Shaw and husband David of Jaffrey, New Hampshire; Kathryn J. G. Ramon of Lincoln, Massachusetts; and Rufus Leroy Grason and wife Sharon of Rindge, New Hampshire; grandchildren, William L. Ramon and wife Karen of Medford, Massachusetts; Jordan L. Grason and wife Katie of Rindge, New Hampshire; great- grandchildren, Katrina Ramon and Alexander Ramon. Services will be private. Stankard, John M. - Waltham  
John Michael Stankard Of Lincoln passed away suddenly, Saturday, July 9, 2016 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He was 48. Born in Boston to his loving and devoted parents Charles E. Stankard, Jr. and Jean C. (Rando) of Lincoln. He was a life long resident of Lincoln. He attended Lincoln Public Schools, and was a graduate of Lincoln Sudbury High School and Middlesex Community College. John worked in the family excavating business, Stankard Excavation located in Lincoln. In his spare time, John enjoyed summering in Scituate, Boating, Fishing and to watch sports on T.V., Most of all he loved being with his family and friends. Besides his parents, he is survived by his beloved brother Charles E. Stankard, III and his wife Stephanie (Chase) of Lincoln, his cherished nieces Emily and Sarah, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours at the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons, 773 Moody St., Waltham, Friday from 4-8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held from the funeral home Saturday, July 16 at 9 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of John's Life at Saint Joseph Church, 142 Lincoln Rd., Lincoln at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Lincoln Cemetery. Parking attendants will be on duty.
